Nikola received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Candidate at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He has conducted several projects in the field of renewable energy sources and motor drives control. He was the team leader of the students from Belgrade University that won the 1st Prize in the International Future Energy Challenge in 2005. He was lecturer and moderator of several international workshops in IEEE Region 8.
